Who we are looking for:

We are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Officer, based in Oudenaarde. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this person will be responsible for the operational part of all our digital channels, especially focusing on the owned media.

The ideal candidate is a pro-active go-getter, with an analytic mindset and a can-do attitude. Someone that is constantly on the lookout for improvement, that is assertive, has a critical eye and can plan their work so they are able to operate autonomous despite being a team player. Fulfilling an important role within our company, the future Digital Marketing Officer aims at a long-term cooperation and is very ambitious to assist in the growth of our company in Europe.

What you’ll do:

• For the digital channels, you are in charge of copywriting, SEO/SEA, image- and content management, analytics, developing and implementing channel strategies.
• You manage all our social media, using Hootsuite.
• You work closely with internal and external sales, our product manager and the product development team to deliver an end-user driven and client centric experience.
• You also assist the Marketing Manager in the development and follow-up of online and offline marketing campaigns.
• You assist in the organization of local and international trade fairs & events.
• You provide layout of catalog, brochures, technical sheets, videos, POS materials, presentations, templates, etc…

What you’ll bring:

• You are a flexible person who finds energy in multitasking and switching from one task to another.
• You have a relevant education at Bachelor/Master level and solid experience in a similar function.
• You are fluent in Dutch, English and French.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Complete your Atkore immersion program.
• Understand how your job will help deliver Atkore’s strategy.
• Deep dive into our different divisions and get to know all stakeholders in order to be able to establish a big internal network..

Within 6 months, you’ll:

• Have mastered our PIM-system in order to control the backend of our website
• Partner with your colleagues to empower cross functional effectiveness.
• Have a good understanding of our product portfolio so you can operate in a more autonomous way.
• Identify ways to strengthen customer relationships to Atkore’s core values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect and Excellence.

Within 12 months, you’ll:

• You will become the single point of contact for all digital matters, always keeping the Lean principles of 5S at your working place in mind.
• Be able to resolve any digital issues.
